Hi everybody,

especially @millerf, @erictonussi, @valdetdodaj and other who had issues and PRs lying around here that went unaddressed for a little too long lately. Sorry about that! We'll get on that really soon.

We had a little phase of disorientation while trying to move to Angular 2 & Ionic 2 in the past couple of months. You can read more about that here: #403 (comment).

While we're still pursuing our goals for Angular 2 & Ionic 2 (more here), we realized that it won't go as quickly as we planned and we're a little disillusioned with the whole topic.

One one hand that's good news! We decided to invest a few more months of active development for the whole Angular 1 & Ionic 1 stack. Official tweet: https://twitter.com/JonathanGrupp/status/821730804959244288

Let us know any opinions, ideas and issues that you would like to see addressed, to make development in Angular 1 & Ionic 1 or even transitioning to Angular 2 & Ionic 2 easier.

Best,
Jon

That is very great news on my side, as I don't plan to move to Angular 2 any time soon...

@millerf, we're glad we're not the only ones. If you have any features or ideas you'd like to see addressed, let us know!

@gruppjo Thans for that. I don't have plans to move to Angular 2 either.
