Latest chicken installation hangs

If it doesn't work you can: brew install --use-gcc

==> Downloading http://code.call-cc.org/releases/4.7.0/chicken-4.7.0.tar.gz
File already downloaded in /Users/andrew/Library/Caches/Homebrew
==> make PREFIX=/usr/local/Cellar/chicken/4.7.0 PLATFORM=macosx C_COMPILER=/usr/

Installation hangs right there.

Specs:

• Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2

Does it actually hang or does building this just take a really long time?

We need the output of brew install -v chicken (as a gist) to diagnose this any further.

1. By default, it does hang (see
   http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/chicken-users/2011-08/msg00004.html).
2. If you set the compiler to gcc-4.2, it no longer hangs, but it does take
   a while to compile. (Maybe set verbose on by default for this port so the
   user doesn't think it stalls?)
