Looking at if I can configure the filenames, in the hope that I can also get my podcasts into plex.
While consuming YT via a podcast reader is working really well, having to configure podsync, then add a new show is a pain.....so I was hoping to get plex to read the podsync dir and automatiically add all the shows and episodes in a media read.

Being able to configure the filename/dir structure would make that a little easier.

I'd like this too!

Out of curiosity, what filename/dir structure would you like to use ?

I think it was just the filename. Dir structure was ok as it was

basefolder
    podcast.xml
    podcast
         file1.mp4

But getting a nicer filename was what I was after. I had it working....and just wrote a scanner for plex to read the podcast.xml
I had it going for a number of years in this config...I've since moved on to ytdl-sub
