Merge system?

What about merge system from MyBB 1.8 and other engines? Does at this time it's planned? In my opinion, we can start working at merge system, we have already some elements like posts, threads, polls and votes. After add some features, the skeleton of merge system will be already available so probably won't be any problems with implement new migration's tasks.

What are you think about it?

Hi,

The current plan is that the current merge system will have no more development, with the focus instead being upon writing a new version following modern techniques using modern libraries and tools. We do not have any roadmap or task list available for this yet, but hope to announce some details soon.
