Linkage scores: If we assumed the argument or evidence were true, would it necessarily support the stated conclusions. These would be a percentage between -100% and +100%. A negative just means that if it were assumed to be true, it would weaken, not strengthen, the conclusion. #1

Before we do any advanced math we will have to find a way to count # of reasons 
that agree with a conclusion.
