Instead of "Play sound #360" it would be nice to say something like "Play sound [receive item jingle]" or similar.

Similar to other aspects of the tool, this would require someone listening to every sound and coming up with a name for it. Another challenge is that it might not be obvious what the sound is supposed to be unless you're very very familiar with the game. Yet another challenge is, handling the case where one single sound is used for multiple purposes.

Do someone have this kind of list?

If anyone knows how to unpack the audio.dat file, I'd be willing to give it a go. I assume they're just normal audio files inside?

The important ones IMO are:
171 - Receive Gil
360 - Receive Item
490 - Receive Materia

@PureMindGames I appreciate that this is pretty old, but if you'd like to go to https://dangarfield.github.io/kujata-webapp/sounds there is a clear list of sounds and you can easily play them / see where they are used in the game. I would also like to see a good list (I've built upon picklejar's work)

@dangarfield Thanks, I'll take a look.
