Player can choose not to play a card even if they have a card in their had that they can legally play
If first card turned up from the draw pile is an Action card, that action must take place - unless it's a Wild or a Wild Draw 4
Everyone tries to be the first one to get to 500 points
Wild Draw 4 cards can NOT be played if the player has a card that they can play legally. Can be contested and then player has to show his/her cards. If player illegally played the Wild Draw 4, then that player has to draw 4 cards. If not, then the player that contested the play has to draw 6 cards
When a player has no cards left, all the others players cards are given to that player and added up
All number cards are the same value as the number on the card (e.g. a 9 is 9 points). “Draw Two" – 20 Points, “Reverse" – 20 Points, “Skip" – 20 Points, “Wild" – 50 Points, and “Wild Draw Four" – 50 Points. The first player to attain 500 points wins the game
Two Player Rules: Reverse works like Skip. If Reverse or Skip is played, immediately play another card. If a Draw 2 or Draw 4 card is played, after player draws cards, play immediately goes back to player that played the card
