@n3a9, you're a free user of nowjs, this means that they remove your application every day or so from their live servers so that they can save space (just like Heroku also does). When you visit the url cold, it takes ~10 seconds to load https://mlh-events.now.sh/

I on the other hand am a paid user. If I do the deployment and now alias ... command, it will be live forever and fast. Take dawsbot.com as an example.
