When I run downgrade.bat, a window appears prompting me to press Enter. I press a key but nothing happens. After the second click, the window closes. All.

I had this too. Shut down, go into bios and boot settings, enable "user flash firmware" and disable "secure rollback prevention". I think thats how they are called.

UEFI Setup -> Security -> UEFI BIOS Update Option -> Flash BIOS Updating by End-Users:Enabled, Secure RollBack Prevention:Disabled
and sometimes it's also necessary to set UEFI Setup -> Security -> Memory Protection -> Execute Prevention:Disabled if you encounter a BSOD upon running the update utility
