Searching for a train using an automated browser will cause the results page to never show. In fact, the loading of the page never begins.

Possible alternative: https://github.com/divy4/amtrak-web-scraper

Other approaches:

  • Use a different webdriver (issue is present on MacOS: Chrome)
  • Add headers or options to browser to prevent detection
  • Attempt parsing with BeautifulSoup
  • UndetectedChromedriver... could be janky
