[Bug]: periodic login required when making changes to /configure page

Describe the bug

After being idle on the /configure page (~5 - 10 mins), trying to save configuration gave me an error, Failed to Save. Uncaught reason. Refreshing /configure page and logging back in resolves this issue.

What did you expect?

Not needing to refresh the page and reauthenticating to save configuration.

Reproducible steps

1. Go to /configure page
2. Log in
3. Make a change and save
4. Go make some coffee
5. Make another change and save
