How to run a TOPS workshop?

Hello!

I am an open science advocate who has worked in astrophysics for ~8 years. I'm now a research consultant at the Michigan State University Institute for Cyber-Enabled Research. I am interested in running TOPS workshops/training/etc to promote open science at my university. I understand that the funding deadline has passed for the ROSES grant, so I assume I would need to find my own support if required.

My main questions are regarding the required qualifications for a "certified" workshop and the support that TOPS can provide. I notice there is mention about Carpentries training in one part of the docs, but I'd appreciate clarifications. If there aren't specific decisions made about this yet, I'd be interested in helping shape those discussions.
