Has anyone worked on implementing logic in command sequences? As per my understanding, command sequences can only have a linear program flow right now. In the future, it would be useful to allow conditionals at the very least, but also math and loops/gotos would be useful.
I'm cautious to go off and start writing this because command sequences are not supposed to be code, but a couple times now I've seen a need for this. Is there a reason why this would be impractical? I think it could all be implemented by writing the right set of new commands rather than modifying the framework itself.
For instance, there could be a CONDITIONAL_AND command that takes three arguments: two names of variables in ParamDB to consider as booleans and
&&
them together, and the name of a sequence to run if the result is true.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
