Neither the initial map zoom/extents, nor the zoom/extents set in the map tour builder seem to be consistent. This is confounded by the shape of the user's browser map window not matching the authors.

Function setMapExtentStep2 in MainView.js fits the author's extents into the visible part of the map (integrated layout). Which makes sense
