Support of NATS Streaming Server

I couldn't seem to find concrete answers from the docs about that does the nats CLI tool support the NATS Streaming Server (precursor to JetStream).

In some of the docs it mentions using the synadia/nats-box docker image with the nats commands on a NATS & NATS Streaming Server setup, and the nats sub and nats pub command seemed to work for me. However all of the nats server info, nats server ls, nats stream ls etc all time out for me.

Is there a document somewhere the lists out what is working with the NATS Streaming Server and what isn't? Or a mention somewhere that the CLI doesn't support NATS Streaming Server that I missed?

No it does not, Streaming server has a EOL date of not too far in the future, reating a high quality CLI is a very big task so we are focussing on JS.

the various commands that timeout (nats server...) those require a System account, I'd have thought you'd get a nicer error than tmeout but I guess your streaming server can be a bit old and so do not have the feature that gives the feedback I need to show nicer errors.

Generally, it just doesnt support Streaming Server
