It keeps saying Installation Aborted every time I tried to install without any meaningful feedback. What could possibly be the problem here?

100% of the time that's happened for me is when reinstalling without first uninstalling. It's a limitation in the electron-builder library. In case you no longer have Uninstall Mapset Verifier.exe (e.g. deleted the folder), running someone else's uninstaller seems to work just as well.
