As you can see from some of these photos captured between August 1st and today, August 3rd, the process of paving the tracks asphalt has officially begun. I've attached a few of the photos below so you can see it for yourself. Pretty historic if you ask me.
Since the camera is located in what's known as the "Harmon Paddock" area, I believe this is the early stages of what will eventually be the starting line and/or part of the pit areas.
Please don't hold me to that, it's just speculation on my part 馃槄
