Weekly Update - 2021-12-15

Done:

• upgraded version of wasmer
• upgraded rust-openssl
• verified that IO cost estimation works correctly, and the surprising results we see are due to the fact that RocksDB writes are cached in memory, a.k.a. memtable

In Progress:

• 0-cost deserialization for wasmer
• separating serialization out of vm errors
• investigating effects of rocksdb compaction on the estimator
