Investigate and find the correct solution of using node 18 with storybook

Currently, node lts points to version 18. This causes a storybook related build and test problem:

There is a workaround in place using openssl-legacy-provider flag. We would like to avoid this and find the proper solution for this issue.

It might be worth it to check if we can use Storybook 7 because apparently this issue with storybook webpack 4 is not present there because under the hood, SB 7 is using webpack 5.
