PatchApplyException when running fixLintGradle #37
Comments
@prestontim Would love to see the file if you don't mind! |
@jkschneider - Here ya go... |
@prestontim Unfortunately, I don't have enough information to track this down. Could you please attach a sanitized build.gradle that fails? I attempted to recreate the scenario manually with this test, but to no avail. |
@jkschneider, I'll see if I can figure out a simple example. |
@jkschneider - Sorry for the delay, but I finally got back around to re-creating this. I found a project that I was having this issue on and tried to remove everything that was specific to my company. Let me know if this successfully recreates the problem for you. |
Spoiler: It's choking on the carriage returns. |
@prestontim We're running into this issue as well with our project. Is there a simple fix we can do to get around it until a pull request fixes this? @jkschneider We're running into this issue too. Have you had a chance to look at prestontim's test project? |
@Thunderforge No, sorry, I never pursued this any further. |
@Thunderforge I'm doing a gradle-lint issue killing extravaganza this week. Will probably get to this tomorrow or Thursday. |
I've run the lintGradle task against a build script and it was able to produce a patch file (let me know if you'd like to see it). However, when I run the fixLintGradle task, I'm consistently getting the error shown below. Please let me know what (if anything) else that you'd like to see.
