Adding biometrics and track history of the stranger (This issue is not part of SWOC) #2
Comments
Hello there! 👋🏻 Welcome to the Thief Detection! 🚀⚡️ |
@kkg2001 Awesome inputs shared, but contribution would start from 11th and participants are not allowed to create issues. Only mentors are allowed to do so. We shall update over Discord when contribution phase starts so that you can claim issues. And for discussion, we can do it over the project channel of Discord so that we can come up with many such ideas to make it better. Loved your initiation. |
I didn't knew about it. Apologies for the same. Let me know my assigned role when contribution phase starts and I am eagerly waiting to work on the same. |
Sure, Looking forward to it. Kindly don't apologize. It shows your enthusiasm to add your value to the project. Awaiting to get this started. @kkg2001 |
Hi @neha07kumari ,
I wish to work on this project 'Thief Detection'. I would like to work on existing issues and would also like to add some features into it. If by some mechanism we can track the history and as well as the travel history of the stranger then it would make things easy. A feature like biometrics or even face detection(revealing the stranger's identity) will help us to identify two things. First whether the person is a criminal/thief and whether he/she has a track record about the same and secondly by the same mechanism biometrics we will distinguish people who are already known to the people of that house and who are coming to that house for the first time(fetching their details in the database).Coming at unusual time (arrival time)will help us to detect them.
It may be the case that the thief will take unusual measures to enter the house like by jumping off the fence or when there is a powercut in the house.
