Player complaint policy

Why

I created this policy because the previous rules are not clear enough, so many players don't understand what report is considered valid and then get angry that I remove the reports. I may create a system that will warn users if a current player has some suspicious behavior(like MMR bumps).

Rules

Primary evidence

To be considered valid, report must contain clear and undeniable evidence. Undeniable evidence is the evidence that any person can verify with 100% certainty, meaning that "probably" and "most likely" is not good enough. The evidence must be clear and easily verifiable, you can't say "I guarantee this guy is a hacker", or "Everybody knows he is a hacker". This can be used as a secondary evidence, but it has no power without the actual primary evidence.
Here is a list of examples of good evidence:

  • Links to replays from drop.sc. Replays must contain clear evidence of cheating, like ridiculous APM(10k+) for drop hacks or blatant map hacks. Please provide time marks with a brief description of what to look for.
  • Links to credible sources where evidence resides(tl forums, etc.).
  • Match history. There should be at least 3 match series. Match series that do not comply with all the rules are considered invalid. Player can instaleave all their games, this is not cheating. On the other hand, player can play several games vs an instaleaver, it doesn't mean that such player is a cheater. Cheating is a serious accusation, there should be 100% reliable evidence of cheating. In other words 1 or 2 suspicious series is not enough, there must be a systematic behavior, preferably vs accounts with a similar behavior. There should be a clear motive behind this, like reaching high MMR.
    • 10+ games long
    • all games are 0-1 minutes long
    • the interval between games in a series is no more than 1-2 minutes
    • if all series were played vs the same player/several players, then some series should have different results, i.e. 3 series if wins, and 2 series of losses
    • 80%+ of games in a series must have the same result/decision(win or loss)
    • most of the games are played against other cheaters/suspicious accounts, preferable at different time of the day, i.e. match history looks legit, there are no clear win/loss series, but all games are played against cheaters nonetheless.
  • Unreachable MMR for a region(8k+ for EU, etc,excluding 🐐)

Secondary evidence

Secondary evidence is evidence that is not good enough to be primary evidence but can support the primary evidence to increase its weight. Examples:

  • Volatile MMR history
    • Sudden jumps (i. e. from d3 to m1)
    • Many games played in a short period of time
  • Plays in a team with other confirmed cheaters
  • Bad reputation
  • Links to a video(twitch clips, youtube, etc) of a big streamer. A good example is drop hackers. Please provide links with timecodes and brief descriptions of what to look for.
  • Public report. To create a public report you have to be logged in via bnet. Your btag will be linked to the report.
