The readme image is currently taking up 1mb of space. If you remove it from the final npm output, it should reduce the package size by at least 100x.

An addition to package.json like this will work:

{
  "name": "better-errors",
  ...,
  "files": [
    "src",
    "README.md",
    "LICENSE"
  ],
}
