Maybe I missed this: is it possible to print a few lines of aligned source and target sentences when using xnmt from the command line?

Do you mean output some example translations every time you evaluate on the dev set? This functionality isn't currently supported, but it'd be pretty easy to add it to AccuracyEvalTask: https://github.com/neulab/xnmt/blob/master/xnmt/eval/tasks.py#L102
