Hi!
I know this issue is not exactly new, but please bear with me, I think the answer to my question should be rather simple, but I seem to miss some information:
My current system:
Dropbox, with encfs encrypted folder
Dropsynch to synch the folder to my Android tablet (using rooted Android 5.0.2) and phone ( Android 6.0.1 CyanogenMod surnia)
Cryptonite to view my data
Everything is great until this point. What I would really like to do is to mount my locally synched encrypted folder as a volume (as I do with encfs on Linux and Windows) – is that possible?
On my tablet I can’t mount a volume because Android doesn’t support FUSE – I got that, but on my phone I am already able to mount a volume. I’m just somehow not able to mount the encrypted folder synched by dropsynch.
Is that because I’m doing something wrong, I did I get the idea wrong and “mounting a volume” only applies to, e.g. a SD card?
I’d be grateful if anybody could clarify that for me!
Günter
And by the way: Thanks for developing this great app – now I can access all my Drobox data fully encrypted from Linux, Windows AND Android!
