Opening this ticket to deal with web search indexing matters for ReadTheDocs documentation (searching online today usually points to yale.edu, i.e.: https://www.google.com/search?q=neuron+topology).
Shall we edit the neuronsimulator/nrn GH page and point to RTD instead of Yale website? (dependency on NEURON documentation plan #1728 or good to go already?)
Consider adding robots.txt to prevent indexing:
neuron.yale.edu website
ReadTheDocs website for older versions (just keep latest and last official version). Robots.txt already created by RTD and weight is based on latest versions. No need to add something custom.
Edit nrn project on RTD and add relevant keywords and description. Unfortunately neuron.readthedocs.io was already taken by someone else, otherwise it would have facilitated better indexing.
Default version on RTD: last official version
