• Visual editor is the most efficient way of working with source code
• Textual source code is used mostly for version control and is human-readable too

Safety

• Exception (panic) can only happen at startup and always means bug in compiler

Go code generation

• Generated Go code doesn't use reflect or unsafe (not sure if it's a good goal, what if these could speed things up?)
• Is readable by human
• Doesn't have dependencies (in go.mod, but can support vendoring) and thus can be compiled without network requests
