This is maybe not worth doing because it would complicate the code without there being a huge benefit. The problem is that we need to have a 2-stage initialisation in order to give Vex a chance to render where we tell the editor window about any initialisation text. We cannot immediately align during initialisation because the editor window tells us the text has changed and we respond to it but this happens after any attempted justification.
