  • Add customizable encryption key

The AndroidKeyStore is the only option for Android to hold secret keys. There are surrounding issues with it as a long term solution, as discussed in stackoverflow. For example, it is tied to fingerprint security and if the fingerprint is deleted, then the key store is cleared, allegedly. Thus forever losing the secret keys. And it has device-specific behavior according to what I read in stackoverflow.
