Description

As a possible replacement for the current Open Tracing based solution for serverless, investigate the use of the Java Agent instead.

Acceptance Criteria

Research spike. Determine and document overall feasibility, for possible future development.

Design Consideration/Limitations

Need to compensate for initial agent startup overhead, perhaps by disabling certain functionality not needed for serverless.
