dashboard widget does not show multi-day appointments in upcoming events

Description

dashboard does not show multi-day appointments for all relevant days. Only the first day of the multi-day appointment is displayed.e.g. dashboard does not show multi-day appointments for today if today is between the start and end of the multi-day appointment.

Steps to reproduce

1. create an appointment a1 for today
2. create an appointment a2 from yesterday to tomorrow
3. open dashboard

Expected behaviour

Both appointments of today are shown

Actual behaviour

Only appointment a1 is shown
