Related to #2443 and #2442 on e2e encryption. Please considering adding a lock code specifically for client settings menu, especially since an active e2e encryption key can be recovered by anyone within seconds via Tray icon / Settings / Display Mnemonic if they snap a photo or copy-paste as of 3.0.1
lock code for client Settings
Adding a lock code to Nextcloud desktop client as you would add a master password to Firefox makes sense, but this is definitely of interest to any user rolling out e2e encryption since it is through their devices.
2fa code for client settings
2fa is also worth considering: locking access to the application via 2fa hardware token or totp code for added security.
Happy to open new issues on either of these if it helps. Thanks for considering! I know you are all busy.
