Search on non-admin users #19
Comments
Well, there is no reason for a non-admin to not being able to search within his own/shared file. Are you using a particular setup of your cloud ? The only thing that I can see is to remind you that until the version 0.3.2 you can only search entire words. In the current development version (and in the next available release), you will be able to search whatever string of chars you want. |
Hi, the minute I make a user part of the admin group, it works. Thanks, |
Hi, I figured it out, the user needs to be part of a group. Thanks very much! |
819bf29 There was an issue on my side also, which will be fixed in 0.4.0 |
Hi, this is great news. How does one update to the latest? Will it be a update button? Or should I install the dev tools to compile directly on the server? (Sorry, I'm new to nextcloud). Thanks, |
when the 0.4.0 will be out you will receive a notification when logged to your cloud (as admin) |
Hi, great contribution and loving it. Thank you!
I installed on the latest nextcloud and I'm able to search files as admin, but not as regular user.
Please advise.
Best regards,
