Only received side of conversations seen

1. Set up account
2. Synchronize

Expected behaviour

I expect to see both sides of my SMS conversation in Nextcloud

Actual behaviour

I only see the received side of the SMS conversation. I do not see the SMS text's I've sent.

Server configuration

Nextcloud/ownCloud version:

PHP version:

Android version:

Nextcloud SMS app version:
nextcloud Sync 2.0.4 Fdroid

You mention getting logs. I have over 500 lines of logs from my server and I'm not sure how to get logs from the Android App. I would rather not splash phone numbers in a public forum. Is there some specific set of logs I can provide?

I have exactly the same behavior.
Here is my configuration:

Server configuration

Nextcloud version: 13.0.5
PHP version: 7.2.8
Database engine & version: mariadb 10.1.29

Client configuration
Android version: 6.0
Phone: Motorola Moto E 4G
Nextcloud SMS app version: 2.0.4

Could it be linked to some protection in motorola's phones? (it's the common point between our 2 cases)

Hello, it can be due to some issue with the phone storage for sent messages.
Phone app doesn't logs anything else than errors but you can easily dump received part from your phone.
Can you try to reset the sync cursor on the phone app and trigger a full sync first ?

I have this as well, on a Moto E phone nonetheless. But this only happens for a small subset of the conversations, most show sent messages, some do not.

Resetting sync cursor doesn't make a difference.

Please tell me if I can provide debug information somehow.

It looks like I fixed this for myself.

I upgraded to NC 15.0.8 and PhoneSync was 2.1.1. I tried looking around and I had the same issues. I decided to click on the gear/Settings icon in the lower left and discovered some settings I hadn't noticed.

I saw a few settings weren't set, including "Country Code". I set the "Country Code" and all of my conversations became complete, with both sides.

I had same problem, but setting "Max messages to send per sync" to Every SMS not synced solved for me
