Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

The storage usage reported by nextcloud does not report on how much quota used by photos, how much by documents etc
There is no way for users to understand how their storage quota is used

Describe the solution you'd like

Storage usage should report quota usage aggregated by type in files app and user settings
Perhaps a new OCS API endpoint also to provide this granularity

Some inspiration for the feature from Google Drive and iCloud which show how much usage different types of files take up:
