How to use GitHub

Mobile clients (when not in a call) would only need certain messages like:

  • update room list
  • refresh chat
  • typing indicator

They could save a lot of data/energy when not being informed about participant list updates, muted, etc.

I think this might delay a permission change for mobile users then, e.g. (not) skipping the lobby.
