Hi,

is it possible to make Talk visible inside the Nextcloud Layout like the XMPP Chat:

I think this is completely another philosophy, as Talk is deeply integrated to Nextcloud. In order to start talking to someone, you have to find a person in the contacts app or by clicking the icon Contacts in the upper corner. And there you may see the list of users. By clicking on the Talk app icon you may initiate a conversation with that person.

Yes, Talk app is not so lightweight like JSXC in all sences...

IMHO, I believe that Talk will be even more integrated with Nextcloud if, instead of being redirected to the Talk conversations page by clicking on the Talk icon, a conversation window would open like it does for JSXC. I don’t think the feature request was on the right lateral bar, but more on the conversation windows.
