Steps to reproduce

  1. Run install_nextcloud_production.sh
  2. Don't install anything or activate SSL (only default install)

Expected behaviour

Script dir should contain some scripts when the setup is done and the VM is rebooted

Actual behaviour

Scripts dir exists but contains no scripts

Cause

Probably the rm -f results on line 667 or the Cleanup2 stuff...

@Ark74 Is it the same for you?

Yep, i notice most scripts were gone.
But i thought (as said in Silicon Valley) that was a feature not a bug, i thought the expected behaivor was to clean and leave the minimum for maintenance tasks.

Here my list after install Collabora/Nextant/Spreed.Me (thus SSL):

history.sh*
install_solr_service.sh
letsencryptrenew.sh*
nextcloud.sh*
nextcloud_update.sh*
passman.sh*
setup_secure_permissions_nextcloud.sh*
update.sh*

Hmm. that's correct behavior.

Just did a clean install on a VM and it left me with no files at all in the $SCRIPTS dir.

Is the stuff above a clean install on a local VM or a VPS?

Clean on VPS.

Hmm, could it be something in the network setup then as when you do it on a VPS you skip the network config...?

It asks in both cases.

This issue is probably fixed when we merge the PR by @morph027 and others
