I'm a software support person for our compute clusters and am attempting to install funannote. I see a tutorial on the website, http://funannotate.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tutorials.html but I don't see the input files being available for download. It would be very helpful to have the exact input files used in the tutorial as a way to validate my installation. Could they be made available?

Thanks,

Rob

There are some test data in the sample_data folder. I've not included the RNA-seq data because would be a large download. I'm working on a funannotate test which will download data and test the pipeline. In the meantime you can use some of the "toy" examples in the sample_data folder -- note that the bash script in that folder run_unit_tests.sh will fail as there are some files on my local machine not in the distribution. Will update this thread when a proper test is available.

Hi,
It would be good to have all the test files as you intend. Its disconcerting to have the tests fail.
Thanks
Chris

This is now a little old, there is a funannotate test script that will download the necessary files and run the unit tests.
