Test and document public VM (cloud) deployments of services

This is most relevant for services that can't be effectively/fully tested in a container or local VM environment. These also necessarily involve providing custom config options (usually hostname, sometimes email address, etc), for which we should also test and document best practices for dev work on services in Ngipkgs.

In past years of Summer of Nix I have used deploy-rs on digital ocean and it has worked pretty well, though at that time each project was a flake in its own repo so there will be some testing required to see how it works on ngipkgs.

Bumping this issue for @ngi-nix/moss (specifically w.r.t. #10); general setup and documentation for a running services defined in this monorepo would be useful.

Hey @jleightcap I wanted to let you know that I'm back from being away for a couple weeks and have seen your bump of this issue. I started working on testing a cloud deployment of a service from ngipkgs using deploy-rs. I haven't gotten very far with this yet, but I will post an update here when I have more substantial news.
