Dear author,

At firmweare 2.2, after instruction of enabling telnet, everything works well, but root password.
By running "passwd root", it give response as below:

After rebooting, root password become empty again.

The modified fw was not allowed to change password.

Hi @hen6e, do you try to short CLK and CS when you are booting? could you please share your short ports? Thanks

@bawanag Here is my BKM:
Shorting CLK to VCC(3.3V) works for me, short CS to VCC may interrupt kernel load but nand0 can not be recognized. I did try many time to make it.

In short,

  1. power the panel.
  2. wait about 0.5s connect CLK to VCC3V3.
  3. run nand info, nake sure nand0 is reconized, or redo process1 and 2.

BTW, I had re-flash original firmware as modified firmware do not have root password.
