Wow. Looks like we arrived at very similar solutions :) Seems like we'll get most adoption with a single solution. Think they're similar enough to combine?

We made a few different choices. Looks like you kept tag functions bound to the coffee-mug instance. After some discussion, we preferred to import tags directly for even less magic, although we were considering a few other options.

Looks we're both aiming for Consolidate.js integration.
