Crashes WebStorm 8.0

In WebStorm 8.0 on Windows 7, with this plugin installed, trying to open a markdown document causes WebStorm to become unresponsive. The only way to get it back is to ctrl-alt-delete and close the program that way and restart it.

I have the same issue, Win 8 64bit, Webstorm 8.

I get this effect also in IDEA 13.1, when the markdown file contains a Image to an https-based URL.

It's probably a bug in idea, because the stacktrace reports something about a "SSL CA confirmation".

Try changing the link and chip in with a vote into the IDEA bug report I created at http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-123335

JetBrains continued to be amazing and they already fixed this issue with the next version of IDEA, WebStorm and PhpStorm EAP. Please check the IDEA ticket for details.

Nope, neither of those issues have any effect. Newest build of Webstorm just last night

Works perfectly on linux/mac but on windows preview always locks up IDE

@Todd-Werelius, this fix is not included in WebStorm 8.0.1. 8.0.1 was built on Friday and released on Monday while the fix was backported to the release branch only today.

Same here with Kubuntu 12.04 & WebStorm 8.0.1, idea-markdown 0.9.3.
It correctly highlights the already opened readme.md when WebStorm starts, but if I close & reopen the file, WS completely freezes.
