At this point the logstash plugin cannot be release because the upstream dependencies are simply not ready yet. This is to remember that I need to cleanup and make logstash part of the release.

The logstash is now built using Travis by means of simply downloading the distribution and extracting the jar from there.

TODO:

  • the jar is deployed to the repository instead of the gem file.
  • When the jar is officially released to a repository remove the download hack.

It has been > 1200 days since the Java plugins for logstash went "GA".
They still have not yet published the dependencies in a clean way.

Dropping logstash support completely.
