Overview

This module manages Veeam Agent for Linux. Veeam Agent for Linux is an agent-based solution running inside the guest OS (operating system). For more information check the official Veeam website.

The following is currently supported:

  • Create a repository (Veeam Backup & Replication repository, local, NFS or CIFS)
  • Create a backup job (entire computer or volume based)
  • Configure the license mode (free, workstation or server)
  • Define the schedule (cron based)

Note:

This is an example module and can be modified as you want. Please test it in a development environment before running directly in production.

Module description

The Veeam Agent for Linux module deploys the agent on multiple nodes with the specified configuration.

Requirements

For usage on Apt based distro's the apt module is required. For usage on Yum based distro's yumrepo is being used (installed by default).

Usage

When the license is being handled by Veeam Backup & Replication no additional license configuration is needed. If the license is however managed per device place your license file in the files folder under the module or disable license management via the module.
