best practice about multiple visit on pages using the same session

I would like to ask what it the best practice if i want to create one session (e.g. login at a website) and then be able to use the DOM from multiple pages, like opening many tabs in a browser.

I just noticed I was logged in with a different account. So the suggestion that ended up working was to create two sessions, log into the first and transfer the cookies to the second.
