Have you tried setting the (as-yet-undocumented) option letterRendering: true?

for me I get letterRendering does not exists in PartialOptions, using: "html2canvas": "^1.0.0-rc.3",

I tried using letterRendering on version 0.5.0-beta4 and it is take css property letter-spacing properly.
