Fork, Commit, Merge - Easy Issue (Julia)

Implement a Simple Function to Calculate the Sum of Two Numbers in Julia

Note: You don't have ask permission to start solving the issue or get assigned, since these issues are supposed to be always open for new contributors. The actions-user bot will reset the file back to previous state for the next contributor after your commit is merged. So you can just simply start working with the issue right away!

How to get started

Navigate to the tasks/julia/easy directory from the root of your project.

Then open a file called sum_function.jl and start implementing your solution!

Description

In this issue, your task is to create a Julia function that takes two numbers as input and returns their sum.
The sum has to then be printed to the console similar to this:

The sum of 5 and 10 is: 15

Test the function by calling it with different inputs.

Running the code

If you have the Julia extension in VS Code installed, you can right-click anywhere in the code editor and select "Julia: Execute File" or press the "Play" icon on the top right.

If the program works as requested in the task, you are ready to make a pull request!

To work with this issue, you need to have Julia installed to your local machine.
Check out README.md for more instructions of installing Julia and how to make a pull request.
