Do you think it would make sense to ping the users who were once members of the ning organization? Or do you know that they don't have access either. |
I don't think former members matter that much but rather whoever still has access. Ning as a company ran with skeleton crew for long time; I think the platform is still around in some form but I don't know who might be still there. |
Ok, I assumed that maybe some of them are still members of the GitHub organization, but changed their settings to not be publicly listed anymore. Even if they aren't members anymore, do you think they could know who to contact? |

Has the contributor access been clarified? GitHub still shows "Contributor" for you, which if I understand it correctly, means external contributor, so your access rights have not changed? Or are you currently discussing this privately? |
I have not tried to see if I can push branches etc. I hope I'll have time to look into this in relatively near future; right now I don't have time. |
