I can confirm that the Download buttons don't work in Safari, but I had no trouble in Chrome.
Safari version: Version 12.0 (14606.1.36.1.9)

PS Thanks for going to the trouble of creating this - exactly what I needed.

The download button is now removed, I have just released v3.0.0.
